Commercial Pilot License (CPL)

On successful completion of the CPL, the pilots can apply for employment with commercial airlines (domestic or international), charter companies, corporate. 

Educational qualification: Minimum qualification required is 10+2 with physics & Maths.

Age:18 years of Age completion

Medical: Class II Medical is to be done by a DGCA approved medical examiner. The list of DGCA approved medical examiner is available on the at link

Class I Medical could be obtained in due course of Training.

Student Pilot License (SPL)

Student Pilot License is a very basic license with which one can actually pilot the aircraft. To acquire Commercial Pilot License, according to DGCA requirements the candidate has to do minimum of 200 hrs of flying training and so to fulfil this requirement, SPL is the very first step which can lead the candidate to a flourishing Commercial Pilot.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 16 years of Age: The student/ enthusiast/ incumbent will have to provide proof of his age via a School Leaving Certificate/Birth Certificate or Passport
  • 10th Standard Pass: Proof of having successfully completed 10th standard         
  • Class II Medical Test by certified DGCA  Approved Doctor


  • Theory: Oral Examination in Basic Aviation
  • This examination is conducted by the CFI accompanied with Ground Instructors, Assistant Flight Instructors and type certified AME of the Academy.

Course Duration for CPL: 12 months

Requirements at the time of application

  • Valid class I Medical
  • 250 Nm X-Cty U/S (1 landing)
  • Day Check Min 45 minutes (Local) first U/S Then Solo 3C/L
  • 120 Nm Night Flying X-Cty U/S
  • Night Check Min. 45 Minutes  First U/S Then Solo 3C/L
  • Instrument Rating Check At controlled Airport (1 yr validity)
